St. Augustine Condo sales were the true beginnings of Crescent Beach Realty of St. Augustine Inc.  As sales agents for several other brokerages over the past 12 years the agents here sold millions of dollars worth of St. Augustine Beach Condominiums and Crescent Beach Condominiums.  No office seemed to be specialized, everywhere we worked they shotgunned the entire market from downtown to the beaches.  We work the beach.  Therefor, the decision was easy, Crescent Beach Realty of St. Augustine Inc. was incorporated the early part of 2004.  Suzanne Tumlin is the broker/owner with over 25 years experience but was inactive until 2004.   Ronnie Tumlin had been actively working in the real estate business here on the beach for the past 8 years, for an independent and for a chain brokerage.  He decided he needed Suzanne's help to open their own office with a totally different attitude.  We wanted to be small, focused and to conform to a policy of customer first instead of company first.  A small handfull of successful experienced agents asked to come to work with us the first year, and they are all still here today.  They wanted a customer oriented brokerage where everybody worked together towards one goal of making clients happy.  We wanted a full time office manager who could assist clients with questions at any time.  We believe if everybody is happy with the deal and the service they received we will be compensated accordingly at the end.  We do not push clients.  We believe property sells itself, we don't sell it.  It is our job to find what our clients want, get them a good deal and keep the transaction on a smooth and straight track.  Buying and selling property can be stressful on everybody, so we stay involved from start to finish to keep stress levels as low as possible for everybody involved and that has been the key to our success.

Another key factor to our success is knowledge.  We concentrate mainly on the island, condos, lots and homes. We know our territory, we know the values, we know what to watch out for and we know where to find the answers to all questions.  We do not use a shotgun approach to the real estate business, we try to focus on our immediate area so we can give a client the complete and best information available about property he is interested in and it is simple as that.  What amazes us more than anything is how often appraisers, attorneys, developers even title agents  call on us for opinions and help here at the beach.

Sometimes, clients ask us to work "off island" to find them property or sell their property for them.  We are happy to assist in any way with the understanding we are going to have to do some research first.  Unlike many brokers, we do not hesitate to call in help from another agent or broker who is more familiar with the territory we are working on and we gladly compensate that agent for their assistance.  We always check out the agent for credentials and credibility first before asking for their help.  This attitude can pay big dividends for our clients in the end and that's just the way we want to do business.  If our client is happy, we will get paid accordingly every time and that client will come back to us in the future.
